I'm going to eventually start to learn how to re-flech my arrows so I won't have to rely on my archery shop to do it for me. I'm going to be switching out my 5 inch feathers to Vanetech V-Tec Max 1.75 vanes with the Arizona EZ Fletch Pro Fletching jig (I will buy this at a later date) and I was wondering; when I fletch them for helical left or right, is it determined by the jig or the vane?
And what are some good tools I could use to remove the extra residue of the old feathers?
