Yes, Ike is missed. I knew Ike from the flight shoots since participating my first one in 2004. Ike kept the sport alive, serving as the chairman of the Flight Committee, and organizing the annual US Flight championships at the Bonneville Salt Flats. He was an exceptional flight bow & flight arrow builder as well and gave Harry Drake some much-needed competition in the mid-1970's. He built a flight crossbow that lobbed arrows around 1350 yards despite some trigger release issues, and I am told it is a thing of beauty. Unfortunately, he quit pursuing crossbow flight soon after Harry Drake came out with his crossbow that holds the standing record.
