  1. Watering Hole
Elliott, "Muskrat," Phillips, proud Yakama Indian, saddle bronc rider, wild horse rider, and friend for years, died Wednesday. Buried him at daylight yesterday morning with both Washat and Christian ceremonies. Some of us rode along with the hearse, to have a last ride with Muskrat. Will miss him!

We lost one of my favorite horses tonight Although she was 25 and as grumpy and cantankerous as they come, for some bizarre and unknown reason we got on together like a house on fire. Tonight we found her barely able to stand ... her sides all sucked in ... called the vet who immediately...

I became a hunter at 7 years old when a friends father walked into the garage we were messing about in carrying two dead rabbits and a .22 rifle. Even though there were no hunters in my own family, from that moment on I was hooked. I've always felt a little hunters remorse and I've always felt...

Clearing out ALL of our Mathews Lost Camo dipped limbs. They are set with DAS bushings, but easy to convert to ILF bushings if you have an ILF riser and bushing (linked below if needed). We will even change them out before sending if you call in your order (still buying bushing separate) Below...

I haven't been on here in a while because last month I went on a Califonia Bighorn Mountain sheep hunt with one of my best friends David Marsh. We covered a lot of miles every day and saw 23 ewes and lambs but not a single ram in a week. It didn't matter though, we both said it was one of the...

Anyone ever loose a thread. I mean not be able to find it and look through the 'back pages' (is that way the Byrd's were talking about). Then the next day it shows up. The other day I was emailing Joe P about a thread and he said he couldn't find it. An hour later there it was. Now, I can't...

Saturday night I took, what I felt, was an ethical shot on a great buck. The sun was setting and he stopped right in the sunset at 20 yards. It was perfect for that 20yd crawl I was stacking arrows with. I let the arrow go and heard it make contact. Shooting at basically a silhouette, I did...

I installed a new router yesterday and, it appears coincidentally, my network attached storage started having serious problems. That is where I store my bow testing database. I managed, after a lot of effort, to get the storage connected long enough to backup my database before I lost the...

Hanging out on the AT FITA Clasifides I saw this X10 stabilizer set, next thing I know a V-Bar and an etender get delivered by a guy in a Brown truck. I am feeling confused and start moving components around until it feels like the Barebow setup with a little more forward roll. Really confused...

Last Wed I lost my shooting partner, my travel buddy, my wife to a sudden unexpected massive heart failure. Last year was her first shooting year at 3d. She found she loved archery and combined it with her photo skills to make some slide shows of the indoor Nats, the Tennesee Classic and...

I had to put down my 15 year old border collie named Buddy today. I was left with no choice when I could see he was in tremendous pain. He lived as good of a life as he could've with me. Lots of range time and hiking! No matter how good the ride was it is still always hard to let go of your best...

I have to vent a little here. I was at Bass Pro in Clarksville, IN over the weekend. They were selling crossbows like they were going out of style. People were also buying compounds and other gadgets. In the entire store there were two recurves. That was it along with a small 6 foot by 4...
