I have a set of Dryad ACS Legend LB (longbow) limbs ILF These are 48lb on a 17" riser Maple core. These limbs are in excellent shape and have never been hunted or shot outside my basement. Maybe 100-150 shots through them. Great limbs just haven't been using them as I have been using my recurve...

Just read in the paper that Ike Hancock died on Jan 17. He was 84 years old. Ike was a flight shooter hand has run the flight shoots outside Wendover for many years. I met him in Wendover in 2008 or so. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He made records as recently as 2003. dave

I would argue that Johan Lomu was one of, if not the greatest player the rugby world has ever seen. I had the privilege of seeing him play three times for the All Blacks ... performances I will always remember. Jonah Lomu has passed away aged just 40. So very very sad. Rest in Peace Jonah

We just wrapped up the production of this Safari Elite recurve and it turned out beautiful. We ran into a lot of technical issues and set backs when building this bow, but in the end we were able to push through; get the bow done and ship it out of the shop to its new home. The woods for the...

I mounted the limbs on a homemade 21" riser with 15 degree limb pad angle. Subjectively the pull to holding weight was exceedingly smooth. They felt lighter for weight than any other I've experienced. And I do have some decent factory limbs. The shot was very quiet, (no silencers), I only...

That I don't post much about my little collection of Dryad's ACS RC. Well Mike and I are friends so I didn't want to show a bias. This week I been shooting a bunch of limbs and risers thru the chronograph. I have Debbie watching to make sure I hit the draw. It is really not fair that I...

Okay Mr. Gary, I know there are springy rest fanatics out there and you are one. I just don't get it, and the rests cost waaaaaay to much to experiment with (well, not really). So what are the advantages of the springy and why do you use them rather than, let's say, the Champion II and Beiter...

Hello, new guy here. I look forward to spending some quality time here learning all I can about traditional archery. I arrived here because I came up with what I thought was a novel idea. To take the riser from a wheel bow and put traditional limbs on it making a T/D recurve!! I posted my...

I'm pulling some overtime at the Sportsman's Show at the local convention center. I got to meet Byron Ferguson and his wife today after watching one of his demos. Extremely nice people.
