For all the guys using this rest, do you have detailed instructions on how to properly set up and adjust this rest? Maybe a link with pics or a video tutorial? My bow and rest and plunger came in, and though I haven't opened it all up yet, other posts have informed me that the instructions are in Italian only, and I've never put this type of rest on a bow. I definitely need some info on how to adjust the position of the arm and the magnet strength. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Paul.

Don't mess with the magnet. You have to roughly set arm height and distance out at the same time. You can tweak the wire slightly as needed. Don't over tighten any screws. Don't over tighten any screws. Don't over tighten any screws. Don't over tighten any screws.
You have been warned. Lol I haven't had a problem, but read that enough to prevent it. You want the plunger to go through center of arrow. Some say slightly above or below center to encourage the tip to turn now and again to prevent wear in same area. The one set screw in the aluminum barrel is all you need to adjust initially.

These are the instructions I found a few years back:

1. leave the two silver pinch bolts alone- theyre only useful if you want a rigid arm that never moves- seal them with a dab of fletchtite so they wont loosen and go missing

2. add the rest to the bow- secure with the threaded plug and button

3.loosen the nut on top a quarter turn and loosen the remaining allen heads by a 1/4 turn

4. using firm thumb pressure and a fingernail to hold the magneticicitity bolt in onto its stopper- drag push squeeze the thing into the right shape- it's still being lightly held by the loosenned bolts.

5. 'select the amount of magneticicitity you desire - ideally as light as possible that anything catching the arm on release knocks it cleanly out of the way without having too much effect on the arrow...but still enough magneticicitity to pull the arm back out afterwards- by adjustic the stopper-screw on top.

6. cut off the hook-nock an arrow- and squeeze in the arm till it's right

7. pull or push the arm to the desired height

8. tighten the two bolts and securing nut at the top- dab the top nut with fletchtite

Be REALLY careful about tightening the set screw into the aluminum nut, they strip very easily. Recommend some blue locktite rather than really torquing it down.

Thanks, that was pretty detailed. I just kind of sussed it out, but kind of wish I'd gotten the free flyte or the shibuya now. I'm surprised how little info there is on how to properly set this stuff up, and how poor the instructions are on most of this stuff. I guess they assume some Oly coach will show you how.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm going to buy the SpigZT and I'm wondering if I can use the plunger/plunger hole to secure the rest. I have a Win & Win Black Wolf riser that only comes with one hole tapped. And that meaning only one hole period. Any advice is appreciated.
