I "stole" this off another thread, where Glynn posted it. I think it's a valid question deserving not to get buried & lost. I'm also curious to read answers on it. MY nut says trajectory, even speeds all same, heavier drops sooner. What say you all? I watched a video of Aron Snyder talking...

Been awhile since I’ve posted... I’ve been shooting a Black Widow PSA 43# at 28”... I’ve been shooting legacy 2117 with 125gr magnus broadheads... I want to go to the Simmons shark broadheads and I’m wondering what would be the heaviest head I can shoot with these arrows... if I decide to go to...

A friend and shooting partner has gifted me a dozen arrow shafts. Yeah, hard to beat a deal like that, huh? He won them at a shoot awhile back but they are a spine and brand that he didn't have a place for, so knowing I shoot 400's as well as Axis arrows he offered them and I accepted :) I...

If I bought a left offset clamp should I buy left wing feathers or does it matter as long as all are the same?

HI all, I am new to archery. I am shooting a Monarch (sage) 62" with 29# limbs. I have about a 28.5" draw and am shooting Fleetwood carbon 700's with 100 tips. I am shooting off the rest. I have done some hunting (rifle/shotgun)and am familiar with the importance of consistent mounts and the...

I purchased a DAS 17" with 40# longbow limbs a few weeks back, and this bow seems to eat any arrow I put in it. Is it just my imagination, or are these bows more forgiving? It's tillered for 3-under and I draw 29 1/2" consistently. I'm shooting off the shelf set to center of shaft. I get...

I wanted to ask. I sign into tradtalk on my iphone directly to the website. Problem I am having is when reading a thread it wants to constantly refresh. Keeps either taking me back to the top of the thread or at some point in it that i have already read? Seems to get worse when I run into an...

Hello, I have a quick question to make sure I have my brain wrapped around the concept. I have two risers I have completed and both are 21 inch. One is a Hoyt Spectra lite hunter and the second is a Bear BB (see pics for BB). If I place medium length TT 2.0 Blackmax limbs on them I will lose...

Bought some GT trad 600 spines 31” with 175 grain tips. My bareshafts at 20 yards are 6-8” right of my arrows. If I start cutting down the arrows to increase spine, how much will it actually stiffen up? Plan on cutting about a 1/4” off the back at a time to try and move them over. Thanks

Hey! New to this ILF stuff and I really didnt know what I was getting into when I bought this Samick Discovery, what with all this tech stuff and tuning but anyway here I am and I have a question. It was shooting better than I could but 3 R suggested a Vista rest/plunger combo that was really...

Hello all. Been shooting DAS ILF Longbow I picked up from 3 Rivers for about a week now. 17" Riser with 40# @ 28 limbs. After tightening all the screws to eliminate noise, I notice the set screws for the upper limb-bolt don't match up like those for the bottom limb bolt. Bottom, both set screws...

I'm shooting a PSE Ghost recurve with 45lb limbs. I draw 28in and am shooting easton 2016 full length with 165 grain Zwickey No Mercy broads. My problem is I'm consistently shooting to the right of where I'm looking. Trying to figure this out.

I found a nice Bear Polar 66" and 37@28, should be at my house tomorrow. I have plans to use this as an indoor target bow. Can anybody give me an idea of the acceptable brace height range ? Thanks in advance, Doug

Hey Guys, I've always shot 4 inch feathers from my centerest flipper on my recurve. I picked up half a dozen Easton arrows that came with Bully Vanes. I have a bare shaft flying great and it seems like the 2 inch vane is doing much better than I thought it would. It's grouping with the bare...

I've never shot a compound bow, so pardon me if this is a "duh" question. For many (most?) compound archers, their bow arm is bent instead of straight. How come?

I really love my aluminum ILF riser that has a very narrow, low grip but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a non-metal riser with a similar narrow, low grip like this, such as one where the entire grip section is made from something very strong like G10? G10 and aluminum have a similar tensile...

In looking at several pictures of top target archers shooting, many have a bow arm that has what appears to me to be a hyperextended elbow. I don't have that myself, but I assume this locks the arm. Does that offer the advantage of eliminating a creeping or collapsing bow arm?

So my problem is I am shooting a 100 grain brass glue on insert with a 155 single bevel glue on grizzly broadhead. I ordered 160 grain glue on field points to tune my arrows with because thats the closest thing I could match to the broadhead. Well after I got my bareshaft flying straight I got...

I'm looking hard at a 27" Gillo GT Riser and am happy to read it's a quiet shooter but have heard skuttlebutt questioning whether or not it is approved or would be disqualified for use in certain BB venues pending organization rules due to it's neoprene pocket spring/dampers. Anyone have any...

If money was no object, what's the sexiest custom wooden recurve you could buy? I've seen Wengerd, Stryker.
