Looks to me like that's exactly what it was designed for. Looks like the quiver may sit a tad high though.

 

The riser does not have amo sight holes tapped on the side ?

 

Not the 17" model.

 

Thanks Jim. That's what I thought. What are the chances that someone already makes this adapter.

 

The 2 Piece Hoyt quiver is pretty darn good. You can't take them off easily if that matters, but it's one of the better bow quiver systems every devised in my opinion. It is curious that they did not put sight holes in the 17" riser.

I don't know the riser, but is there a 3/4" x 3" flat area?

Adapter is in. Definitely fits solid. Pushes the arrows about an inch further out than I would like but it's manageable and a good solution. Shot quiet with it on the bow and will be perfect for a hunter that primarily hunts from tree stands like myself and want quick removal of the quiver. No complaints. I suspect it will mark up the inside of the hex mounting hole if that bothers you because it is a tight fit.

 

This rig is now ready to hunt! Find me a turkey. Lol

Looks good. But this may be a deal breaker for me on the riser. Dang. There is always something with Hoyt. So far the best 17" ILF risers cut past far enough from center to give me good clearance with my plungers don't have sight mount holes for my quivers, the 17" Satori and the WW Black Wolf. I guess I'll have to use a Thunderhorn or Selway.

 

That's weird they didn't tap the 17" riser for a quiver. They DID tap the 21" riser, my Kwikee quiver fits perfectly.

 

The position of the riser cutouts don't allow for it on the 17. Personally, I like Moogs adapter better. Not only does it center the quiver loaded with arrows better, it keeps the entire works out of the way of other attachments.

 

Necessity is the mother of invention. Nice option, especially with a longer cushion plunger.

 

The end of the quiver sits just in front of the berger hole. Just enough that I had no problem with my springy rest which sits out from the riser a bit.

 

Sticks out way to far for me, but maybe it can double as some sort of bow hanger? If not, Id be putting that in a lathe and taking an inch or more off it.

 

I would like it about 1/2" shorter, but certain don't have lathe skills or availability. lol It will work as is. Balance isn't too bad with it on the bow either, but I generally stand hunt and remove a quiver anyways. I also like using the catquiver when I need a pack for a full day sit.

I've cut a few of these down ,I see joe offered to shorten it ,ill offer also ..No charge ,I run a big machine shop,can fit small stuff like this in quick ..Don't mind helping a fellow Archer .Shoot me a PM if you need help.

Here is mine 17" Satori riser 29.5 arrows. Seems pretty centered
on the bow to me. Hope I did pix right. New to forum.

Looks like these adaptor/quivers are attached by single screw. How do you keep them from pivoting?

 

The post is hex shaped which insets into the hex shaped recess on the riser. No way it can pivot. I honestly don't see how it could be designed any better. It places the quiver at the right height and it can be easily removed.

 

So I tried to place an order with Treelimb but realized that their site security certificate is listed as 'not secure'. This is a bummer.
