Has he found a way to mount one of these on a bow yet?

It's going to make the SRF look like a child's toy.

Until the laser guided arrow is patented and perfected. Then we'll be the envy of compounds!

Sam, I have used plastic flipper rests on longbows, got better fletching clearance for sure.....

hijack response for Greysides below:

Here is a link: http://www.archery-laser.com/ However, I think projecting a laser dot is problematic given the arch of archery. It would be like using a single pin / aperture like a target sight with the need to set the distance for each shot. worse though as holding or gapping off the projected dot would be a problem unless the target was in front of a flat wall. A better idea is Truglo's red dot sight:

Sam - it is not exactly a elavated rest per sa - but 3rivers carrys a copy of the old feather rest. I got one on a Horne Classic. I put it on to see if I could shoot vanes off it. I like the way the bow shoot so much with the feather rest I left it on.

Thanks Rasyad, you got me there. I didn't think such things would be applicable to a stick and string, though I note the archer demonstrating their sight is using a compound and presumably its straighter trajectory is better suited to laser guidance.
