A very good move. Proves it doesn't take speed to compete.
I watched him shoot. What stood out to me is how he locked his anchor.[ Later

 

He won by 14 and the next 5 places had a 6 point difference. Wow.

Next two highest had 45 and 42.

 

This is not 70 meter competition; he'll probably go up a few for the summer Olympics.

I hunted with 80-90 pound bows most of my life, but perfect scores with a 47 pound bow that takes super strength. My heaviest target bow was 42 pounds and the best score i ever hit with that bow on the blue and white PAA target face was in the 280s for a single round. I did better with the mid 30 pull bows, but still no 300s.
