I'm ok with side plate and shelf bump. & I'm ok with trick-looking flipper rests or stick-on rests and plunger.
I rig a lot of shelf bumps and I just prefer adjustable strike plates (bolts) with fuzzy on it because they are SOOOoooooo EASY to set up.
Where for me glueing on a strike plate - then tearing it off - and putting on a thicker or thinner one & repeat & repeat to get centershot right hey I can do it but this is s'posed to be fun.
just my opinion.
maybe you guys are much better at the guesswork for centershot than I am. YEH I CAN DO MATH. but with a (bolt) I don't have to think about it.
I wish someone would invent a bolt that does not project out the other side of the riser. You'd think there would be a way - with set screw or something - to keep the whole works inside the riser.

That's what Jim has done. I would've also but hard to get the set screws here in Metric Land.

the DAS strike plate stud and Allen set screw. Everyone duplicates it with a shorty stud from the hardware store and set screw.

3rivers DAS sdtrike plate stud. I sometimes change the bevel to allow it closer to riser, OR simply thin the face of it down a little bit.

I guess you need a big 'hump' with that though, to get the arrow up high enough. If I had access to that fine hardware here I'd be glueing something to it as a strike plate long enough to get it down nearer the shelf. Some folk don't mind an arrow riding high, but I guess I'm baked-in needing the arrow as close to my hand as possible. I kind of 'point' when I aim, arrow the index finger. High humps, while very cool, for me have the same problem as an elevated rest in that respect!

for shelf bumps I scrounge old shocks & struts from car repair shops.
Rob the rubber bushings.
I use like 1/4 of a bushing, glue on shelf with Barge cement. Instant bump. cover with Velcro, etc.
