What would be a good weight for a limb bolt?

I have a 19” riser I can add limb bolt weights to. I would like to find an optimum size weight to install at the limb bolt to help reduce vibration.

I like a heavy riser and use stab weights to balance it. I am just curious as to weight size that might help the bow in addition to the stab weight

I like the feel of a riser that has weight at the limb pockets. I would assume the limb bolt weights would reduce vibration and help reduce noise as well.

Thanks

Thanks.

What did you find adding the weights at the limb bolts did for the bow? Anything positive happen having more weight at the limb bolt? My Das risers felt better to me just adding stainless pads to them.

I am using a 300 gram stab weight to balance it. I could use a 100 gram on top and 200 gram on bottom, but if there is nothing to be positively gained by having weights at the limb bolts I might as well just stick with the stab weight.

This riser is a 19" Border Tempest. I don't need 300 grams to balance it but that is what I have. I am more interested in any added benefits for more weight at the limb pocket. I could add a 100 gram up top and a 200 gram on the bottom.

First off. I don't have a stab on my hunting or 3d bow. It's because I carry the bow with a belt loop to my left side or back depending on the ground cover and hides the brighter fletching.
Second.
Weight forwarding has proven to reduce twisting. Which I could see on the third axis accelerometer. You can tell by watching the data difference from machine shot and hand shot.

Third.
I don't care for a heavy weapon. Number one reason for trad. I have a rife and compounds. In this open range no bueno..

Having the weight farther from your hand increases the effectiveness of the weight. It’s not totally how much a riser weighs but rather where the weight is that makes it shoot better.
4 oz at the top and 6 on the bottom can make a big difference.

I decided I am going to add a 100 gram weight to each limb bolt and eliminate the stab weight for now.

Tomorrow I am ordering from Border two 100 gram black weights and a second black weight limb bolt.

This riser was designed to balance at the pressure point and not the pivot point. I was changing it to balance at the pivot point. I am going to leave it as designed and just add a little weight at the pockets. It was also designed for that too.

I liked the feel of my Das risers better when I just added stainless plates to them. I think I will like this riser with a little more weight in the pockets too.

Thanks
