Hey everyone, just joined the site. I’ve been a member of archerytalk since 2012. Mathewsman109 is my username. I’ve dabbled with traditional archery a bit but here lately the bug has bitten me bad. I shoot a ‘64 bear grizzly factory Camo @52#. Is there any rules before you can post for sale items or buy on the classifieds. I know archerytalk requires new users to wait but I couldn’t find anything on here. Any info would be appreciated, thanks

Welcome to the site. I had to laugh when you asked about selling something on the first post. I was just thinking yesterday that the last six or eight bows that I listed on archerytalk got very little response and no sales. I don't know what is going on over there. The facebook groups seem to work best but you have to be careful how you go about it because bows, arrows, quivers, and bow bags are prohibited items according to the bicycle riding tree huggers that moderate facebook. My list of infractions there is starting to look like George Floyd's rapsheet.
As said above, get to know the folks here and build a rapport. Don't expect the trading blanket to do anything here that you can't find elsewhere. The trad community is not stagnant and many of the people that come here to talk also are on two or three other forums.

Rules are rules..belonging to both sites I find the trad site is a little more deeper in the trad field. A lot of information here and some very knowledgeable people eager to assist.

Thanks everyone, I’ve shot bear recurves for a while and haven’t really shot anything else, I’ve been doing some looking at ILF bows, anyone have any advice on them, pros cons.I’ve been looking at the tradtech titan and the dalaa.
