What are y'all using during late season(below freezing temps) for camo that is quiet enough for stickbow range hunting? My current camo is great and keeps me warm but since switching to stickbow only hunting it's gotten me "looked at" when the deer are in that 10-15 yard range. Curious what everyone is using. Thanks everyone

I used Asbell's wool Pathfinder this year. I really liked them but needed 2 to hunt Michigan in late season.
I got some good advice before hand and used appropriate layers.
What I like about them is the quite and excellent range of motion in the arm's. I know you can spend more alot of the other wool looks like good stuff but this met my price point and I enjoyed using it.

I got rid of my Sitka whitetail jacket and bibs and went with the Drake hydrohush, I hated the gray and white camo pattern Sitka puts out there for late season, they are just as warm and simply will not break the bank And above all whisper quiet. Tell me which brand you have found to be of great quality.

That's great. I genuinely enjoy it. I'm interested in purchasing this for my December vacation.

Wool and fleece generally for quiet.
I have a Day One Camo jacket that's pretty silent Cowboy suede. Winfproof, nice pockets, has arm tie downs. dayonecamo.com
I added a cheap puffer vest this year it it helps a lot - it's under the jacket so any noise doesn't travel far. Good core insulation that was easy to vent . Probably a well known trick I just learned.

Have the older Columbia Gallatin wool for real cold and below freezing. Have muskox wool heavy sweater For under garment with a soft waterproof shell. Have light weight GI gortex for cold wet weather. Also love a down vest… light warm and does not bind in shoulders to shoot bow. Good wool is hard to beat. Still has warming properties when damp. Wring it out and drive on.

another set of windproof bibs for a reasonable price - probably quiet b/c of the fleece facing. Anyone have exp?

I have a custom cam Filson double Mac, Wilson wool shirts, a heavy merino wool pants, a variety of wool long john's, boots from Ely, Mn, a portable tent heater, a variety of things to block wind, and a warm merino wool blanket on my bed, in case it is so cold out, that pieces could freeze up and fall off of me.

For those browsing this thread, Nomad has had some great sales this season. Their Cottonwood series is worth a look as if the Conifer. I don't see how the Cottonwood and either a puffy or heated vest can't take you deep into the season. I think their Harvester suit is a super deal as well. Great all around suit that with proper layering you can get a lot of mileage out of but it's not the right suit for super cold weather.

I bought cheap Berber Fleece pull overs at Walmart For $10 each. Used 2 to make a double layered vest. Cut the sleeves off one, sewed that vest inside the other. Added full length zippers to both. That gives me 4 layers on my core, one on my arms for non binding movement when drawing. Very warm and dead quiet

Update, I went with the Kings Wind Defender XKG on a nice sale price. I used it twice. It's windproof and very quiet. Customer service told me the cheaper hunter fleece one is even quieter (after I had already ordered) but I was fine with the XKG noise level.
The full length zips up and down the sides for ventilation work well.
