The Morrison Max 6 is on par with the Border Hex 7 or Hex 7.5 so far as performance. The Border Hex 8 and Hex 9 do have more tip flutter than others, but they are unmatched for performance with heavy arrows.
While I do have an extra set of Hex 8 Borders for a Covert Hunter, the Morrisons are an ILF. Hopefully I can find a used 17" Covert Hunter riser.
Border does make three different models for ILF. Running from a nearly conventional limb performance to the CV9 series. Their fastest ILF limb.
While I have found the Morrison Max 6 to be more tolerance of draw length, the Borders really do need to be matched to your draw length via riser and limb length. If your draw is too long, it is hard on the limbs. Too short and you don't get the performance.
Border developed the SC limbs with the carbon cores and fiber laminates. Early Morrison limbs were made by Border for Bob Morrison.
