I am planning to go to ETAR this year, for the first time. We have reservations for a place to stay, but I didn't see any mention of registering on the ETAR website. Is registration required? If so, how and where?

Thanks in advance,

Dave

No, no registration involved. Depending on when you get there you may have to park far far away but they run shuttles constantly. I live relatively close and have been going for over twenty years, used to camp for most of the week. Definitely a destination if you love trad archery - like Woodstock with bows. Where are you staying?

I went last year for the first time. I had an idea in my head what I was looking for In a 3 piece long bow. I bet I shot 30 bows some with serious intentions some for fun. It was a great time. There’s lots of courses. Food and drink were expensive. A word of caution the vendors shut down about 5 PM so get that done and then shoot. If you want to really take it in it’s a two day event. I’d like to do two days this year.

I ended up buying a Stalker Stickbow Coyote FXT.

YEA its the Mecca for trad. I’ve been to some trad shoots and they were nothing like this.

Great input, thanks. I'm very much looking forward to it. Been following The Push podcast, and am excited to meet all these guys.

Got a Big Jims Thunderchild in February, so I'm gonna need to leave my checkbook home, or I'll have a lot of splainin' to do.

This will give you an idea of what you will see. Liberty is not to far away so your travels back and forth will not be bad.

Have been going to ETAR since the very start when it was at Denton. It's now at Sawmill so I usually decide between the Sawmill shoot or Etar. Hope you have a blast. Good Shooting->->->->Craig
