I am beginning to think this is all just rumor at this point because I talked to Easton yesterday and the gal I spoke to said she had no clue what I was talking about.

I also called three rivers yesterday and they had not heard of any changes beyond Easton getting rid of the swaged glue on nocks..

Beyond that he didn’t know what I was talking about.

He even mentioned the ever popular autumn orange line of arrows Easton makes for three rivers, stating they are great sellers. Regardless I will be buying more this weekend.
Try purchasing XX78 Super Slams recently? How about 1816 XX75 Camo Hunters?

I thought it was common knowledge the XX78 were just camo X7s.

Same alloy, different quenching treatment. They are not exactly the same and the X7 is much more expensive. X7 is designed for target shooting., too costly for hunting. XX78 were designed for hunting. My point is this, Easton has discontinued some aluminum arrows without saying they have. Replaced some-yes, expensively for archers when arrows are available, if they are available.

Those aluminum tubes don't grow on trees, they raise the prices for other reasons than product cost. The problem with wood arrows, THE PROBLEM WITH WOOD ARROWS, I will sleep on it, maybe i can come up with something.

Say what you wish, but it's happening now. No more xx78 Super Slams, none, no more xx75 Camo Hunters. (2117 and 1816). No, it's not happening overnight, just incrementally. I've got mine just in case.

You can still get Camo Hunters, just maybe not as many sizes as before.

A lot of arrow sizes and models are unavailable or low on stock right now. Hunting season starts in 3-4 weeks. I wouldn't read too much into it.

Go into any outdoor store and you'll find all kinds of stuff cleaned out this time of year.

There in the 3R catalog,1816 xx75 Camo hunter,they might still have some..idk
Grizz67,
I contacted Lancaster Archery and Mindy suggested I tweak my set up to 1916 Camo Huntersas they are still available so I ordered some of them. 1916 Camo Hunters are on clearance now at Lancaster Archery. Might as well get some Camo Hunters while they are still available. Thanks! God Bless. Bob
