Beman Gold Medalist - TD4

This was talked about a little on archerytalk when J-shooter was showing his Spig 1300 riser he just acquired. Does anyone own one of these Beman Gold Medalist/TD4 risers? If you do would you mind sharing some pictures so I can see how it differs from the Hoyt GM?

The only pictures I can find are below from a catalog on the Arco e Freccia website. The quality is very grainy and in black and white so no details can really be seen. Beman - Arco e Freccia

On archerytalk a poster said they were Russian risers that Hoyt rejected. Can anyone confirm this?

Being a huge fan of the Hoyt TD4 this Beman version really peaked my interest.

In 1998 I shot in the USIAC Championships at Texas A&M and shared a bale with Vic Wunderle who was shooting the Beman riser at that time. IIRC he said it was the only one in the states. I do know he only shot it for a little while before abandoning it because he said it had some issues with lateral alignment -- probably low tolerance in the pockets. I do remember hearing they were a Russian knock off white labeled by Beman(French company at the time).
