Great pack. I love mine, amazing construction, even my wife takes it for summer backpacking the only pack my wife can use without hurting her

I'd be interested in your umlindi. I find the kifaru quality outstanding but I think hill people is on par if not better in construction and comfort. But you cant go wrong with either if they are a design you like. These packs are heavy and heavily made to last a lifetime. Sometimes when I just hold my pack empty I think it's too heavy then I put it on loaded and think... totally worth the weight. So comfy. I won a stone glacier pack last summer it was lighter and really a quite nice design but the construction and especially construction of the shoulder straps and waste belt left me wanting a hpg or kifaru. I still have a kifaru scout that gets used a lot
