In all the catalogs and internet sites, I cant find a diameter. Do the 5/16 inch field points sit flush? What ones work best?

Also, Peter, whats the footing recipe you are talking about for these boys.

9/32" for unfooted.....5/16" if footed with a chunk of 1916 aluminum...

Mine measure .265". 17/64ths is a perfect fit.
They are difficult to find (for me at least) in
125 gr. weight.

Morrison Archery carries Ezy-out field points in weights up to 250 grains. They are tapered on the back end which allows easy removal from targets. I also know that PDP makes points just for the Axis/Beman shafts.

I have taped my drill on a board, placed a 5/16th filed point in it and used my broadhead file to taper the end to fit. I only do this for 145-175grn heads since you can find 125 grns in 9/32.
