Can anybody tell me what serving material to use that Carbon Express nocks will fit on. The factory Bear serving material is way too thick for these nocks. Thanks in advance.
I use monofilament nylon fishing line on the center serving. Then you can choose the nock fit very exact by changing diameter from 0,35 to 0,40 for example. For a 20 strand FF equivalent string, I use 0,45mm line. For 18 FF-ekv, I change to 0,50. Under 0,40mm of fishing line is not recommended, since it gets to weak.
How exactly do they do that? Is it simply one full serving over the other? Separate? Or do you serve up and then down again, finishing where you started?
My newest string is double served only in the finger and nock contact area. The rest of the 8" or so are only single.
Here's my question to you guys. Which do you prefer? What other techniques have you seen? And for those do it yourselfers, how would you do it?
