I have 125gr magnus broad heads. I would like to switch to vanes. What length do I use 2 or 3 or 4 inch or low profle? what are you using? I'm using 5" shield left wing right now. My bow is 45# @28" of draw and my arrows are 29."

I had a short stint with the 2" rayzars for a while but I'm now back to the old stand by of 5" parabolics for any hunting arrow.
They simply work on everything.
Bright Red barred, fluro Yellow, Orange, Green,, nice pretty colours.
A bright green nock with bright yellow feathers going down ranges looks like a Dandelion in flight.
Bright Red Barred with a Red Wine colour nock just looks too cool no matter what.

Oooops, thought you were talking feathers.
Sorry.
John.

AAE Plastifletch 2 7/8" will do nicely. Best memory of all vanes.
Do not buy Duravanes. Worst memory of all. They will wrinkle up just looking at them.
2" Blazers will control broadheads just fine providing you have decent arrow tune.

I've had excellent results with FlexFletch vanes. I used the 3" Silent Knight vanes last fall with 125gr. Magnus Stingers and they flew perfectly. Even had some pass-through shots on hay bales without any damage to the vanes.
