I have a Peregrin Falcon recurve 52# @ 28". I havn't shot it for a while, I think I used 2216 arrows for her.Are 2216 to stiff, should I use 100 grn or 125 grn heads.:thankyou:

Well?....without knowing how long you actual draw is or how long your arrows are it's kind of hard to say but 2216 does sound like it's teetering towards the stiff side so....that said?....all's I can say is go with the heavier points and work your way down instead of the other way around.

Thanks, I draw around 29". I try what you suggest . I might even go back to cedar arrows.

troutbum, the spine for a 2216 shaft is .375 and would be approximately 70#s or thereabout. I would suggest a 2016 at .531 should be good for you with that weight. If your wanting a heavier arrow look around for 2018 as it should be tunable.
