Thanks for this! I plan on shooting mine off the shelf as well, but I really don't want to drill another hole, personally. I might just build it up high enough to use the existing one. What did you use to attach your bamboo to the riser?

JB weld on a clean surface. I have used JB putty to build up a shelf too.

Nice work Sam. I've built molds using plastic from a milk jug, used finishing nails tacked into my bench to shape them, and filled them with both Bondo and JB Weld. Both hold up very well, Bonda is a little easier to shape.....
