I really like the Stu Miller (3Rivers) Dynamic spine calculator.
I was curious as to the calculated velocity indicated for a rig. Has anyone ever chronographed their bow and compared it to the calculated speed?

Pretty much in line with such for compounds and ammo stats published by the manufacturers- pretty close, but not quite exact.

I just chronographed a few different setups after using the calculator and found my speeds were 5-8 feet per second slower than what the calculator expected.
Isn't that about the difference Blacky reported when using a Hooter Shooter?

I remember reading an article describing how Stu Miller put his program together. I believe he is an engineer. It is very impressive work. I am not sure where his chrono numbers come from or whether they are hand or Hooter Shooter numbers.
