I got my formula adapter and XO limbs today but I can't get the adapter to go on the limbs :brickwall:

The problem is that the metal piece on the adapter wont fit into the part on the limbs that attaches to the limb bolt. Does that make sense?

If anyone has had experience with these adapters please HELP

Try loosening the screw that holds the faux limb bolt on the adaptor plate and give it a firm rap with a rubber mallet. That will push the faux bolt out a little and allow the limb butt to slip onto it. Tighten the screw again and you should have that part done. Sometimes the faux bolt flange on the adaptor plate gets in the way of seating the limb butt, especially if they are new.

edit: if that doesn't make sense, I can try to post up a photo to help.

You need to push the faux bolt out a little. It is just very tightly friction fitted in place. Try threading the screw back into the bolt, but leave a couple millimeters gap. Put a piece of scrap wood (or something that won't damage the screw head) on the floor and push down firmly with the screw side down. A good shove with your body weight to help ought to be enough to move the bolt out enough for the flange to clear the limb butt. I had the same problem with mine when they were new.

Awesome. Glad it worked out for you. Do check the screws and retighten if needed after a few dozen shots or so as the adaptor and limb butt may settle into each other. You will know they have loosened if you get a buzzing noise on the loose.
