I'd send an email to Uukha. They are usually quick to respond.

 

Gluing will probably work fine, but I think I'd do it differently. I'd probably grind it off, fill the void with epoxy and once dry sand it down to match the rest of the contour of the limb.

Look like your limb is losing the surface coating. Which in turn can expose these surface edges. I doughty they will tell you what to recoat them with. They my have a exchange plan.

 

Ps. I have the same set of limbs and love them.

 

Uukha have advised not to shoot the limb and to sort the warranty out with the store I purchased them from.

Same thing i had with my irbis limbs, except mine started on the back corner of the recurve..
They will replace them i would say, but its the no questions asked that has always bothered me..
Like they already knew...

 

A friend who also shoots uukhas has wondered if keeping the bow strung could have contributed to this. Any thoughts?

I've toyed with Uukha limbs... in the end I stuck with the tried and true wood and carbon.

Having the bow strung for long periods is no issue for any modern bow, as long as its not subjected to super high temps like being cooked in a sunny car.

Luckily you bought them locally, lot easier to work out and you appreciate why you can save 30% shopping online, but sometimes its not worth the risk.

 

Have had my for several year as well as border, Dryad, and several others. I keep the strung and hang them from the string. Store in the house. If I put them I a car I always break them down.
