...HaHaHa... you are the only one here that can make their own Tribute from scratch... View attachment 46493
Therein lies the problem. I have really been enjoying my 19" recently and can't imagine wanting to shoot a bought riser instead. Not because it's better but just because homemade is fun in a different way

(y) ...I am a strong proponent of "Built! not bought"... there is just a feeling of pride in fabricating...
Good point Gnome. It’s a limited run I like the way you think. And 100% with Anton.

Chad
Now that I know the weight of them I'm less interested. Too heavy for these hills with bowquiver. Would only use it for target/3D.
Well to put some of the questions to rest, at least for me.
DAS tribute weighs 3.06# with weight and everything except grip.
Without weight 2.84
This is with a luggage scale, so a bit of salt with weights. Better than my bathroom scale that lies to me every time I use it.

No serial number. Kinda wish it had one. Oh well, not a deal breaker.

They included a brass/hex head bolt for shooting off the shelf. That wasn’t included with first run. Nice gesture.
Limb pad rubber, first run was a porous like foam almost maybe neoprene. This riser has thin rubber on the limb pad. See how it holds up.

Damn nice quality riser.

That’s first impressions

Oh and my Tribute build along grip fits perfect.
Built on first production tribute.
David’s tribute 2016001
So it’s nice that the grip area didn’t change.
Will update when I get the scanned grip.

Chad

Will post up a few pictures once I can seems like the sight is having a few issues.

ok I was having issues lol.
added a little bit of ANT bling.

so no serial numbers. I don't recall where I read they stopped the serialization - - but good to know. GLAD your older grips fit the new riser.

Thanks for the pictures. Friggen hard to look at. Probably making a dumb decision not buying it. Any day gone baby gone. Just that weight and those tiller bolts. Can you easily swap them out for lower profile standard bolts?

Anyway, justifying/lying to myself that I already have a 19" that shoots like a dream and if there's a DAS riser I should get it's a DX5 as the 17" is under represented in my collection.

The tribute bolts are one of the nicest limb bolts ever made. True .375 diameter no lateral play....ahead of Jake Kaminski. Articulating nylon washers, beautifully machined. What else can you ask for? Yeah. I guess they aren't low profile. True story

Good to know cheers. Sound awesome, on page. But big silver parts like that are no good for hunting, and will also catch on all sorts in dense undergrowth. Any guesses as to why these bolts were not continued in other DAS risers, even as an option? Why unpopular? Or are they and I didn't catch it on their site.

...I call bull s**t... there is parrot theory, and then there is reality....and that is bull s**t...

Edit: I edited out the curse words, but really dude? do you actually put meat in the freezer???

No need for the snark, Gnome. I ground hunt in jungle. You go take your shiny things hunting, stalk in your bling, do what I cannot. Best of luck to you.

...Yea… Public apologies to Remote….that was overly snarky….

...but still back to the realworld vs theory thing...the snagging limb bolts on underbrush is a non-thing...

These bolts are discontinued because of high cost to produce undoubtedly

I WAS WANTING to know what some current high serial numbers are on these Tributes to know how many were sold?!?!?!
pretty cool to have been a part of it anyway, I bought FDE #12 new, and later owned 001 and a couple other Tributes.
I'll probably grab another one off the used racks sometime. I should probably have one within grab reach.
I downsized too far in one of my Steve Martin moments "this is all I need. and THIS"
where are the pictures of said riser.
Here is my riser. I may try to hunt with it as is...I don't kill anything anyway..
