Well said to hell with it. Ordered my tribute today.
At the price, top quality, durability of the finish, no more being produced and I love the design.
Hell yeah.

Now I’m curious as the the serial number.

Chad
Congrats Chad , @ the price they are offering those really can't go wrong . Did you order with Das plates or ILF ?
How about the extra surcharge for a grip , I 'am guessing you passed on it , because in your stash arsenal you already have a grip to fit it ? ,,,,,,,,
Thanks Orlando, I agree can’t go wrong at all, I did go with ilf, didn’t get the grip.
I did message Aris and see about trying a scanned grip of the bumblebee I modified for the tribute.
Anton has a weight for it and prob will get a DAS weight also
This is going to be a fun project.
Have long and xl limbs ready to go on it.

It’s a win win I think and the price is well below many higher end risers.

Yes Sir Mr Chad another positive factor involved in the decisions throughout the years to choose for instance the WF risers and the Das risers is also you don't have too termite proof them every five years . Never owned a Das but when I do , it will most likely be a HT-21 .

CHAD, kudos for getting another one, it will not have a serial number, THOSE serialized were only in the pre-production run of risers, the early sign-ups, whatever you call it.

Thanks Steve , I was hopeful they were, even their web page states serialized. Oh well no issue here.

Orlando I have grown to kinda like the HT down the road it may be a possibility.

Chad
hey CHAD I could be wrong, it's a regular thing, haha - about the serialization - we're dealing with my wayyy old memory here.
I only thought I remembered that only the initial run of risers we signed up for would be serialized, then the ones made after PRODUCTION runs began were not.

How much does the Tribute weigh? For some reason don't see it on the site.
The bare riser is close to 17#, don’t quote me on that…:D:LOL::LOL:

...I came up with 3lb,4oz...
...it only feels like 17lb after station #14....

Thanks.

For those of us everywhere except USA, that converts to 1.47kg. Yep, a heavy 19".
I sold off some reloading stuff to a friend in early March.
IF HE PAYS me for it, before long, I will get me another Tribute.

Steve I don’t think you’ll regret it.

Chad
I know some of you gents know more about the Das risers and there interesting history than maybe some of the current gents that represent them . However on the Tribute riser sale site it states " engraved serial numbers " if you go on there and hit "more " . Just saying not trying to stir the pot . Another just personal opinion , me myself would rather own the Tribute @ that current price there offering them for than there " new " model about to hit the streets . I wonder how many Tributes they actually have left before they " run out " .
Hey I have sure struck out before this!! haha
I wonder who has bought one lately and what the serial numbers are up to now? good stuff here. Thanks Orlando.

I just sent a PM to Mr. KARCH at 3rivers. if he's not wayyy busy maybe I can know something useful tomorrow or soon.
Ordered on the 23rd and is scheduled to be here the 26th. So if Mr Karch doesn’t reply by Friday I’ll let you know when I get home, should be waiting for me.
I’m pretty excited to get it. Still undecided on limbs.
Leaning on the xl sx50 for a 66” bow. Seems to be my sweet spot.

from the man himself - -

1. I'm afraid they are all bagged up and sealed, so I cannot see the serial numbers on them.
2. Nine RH black is all we have.
3. Yes, the Tribute riser is being discontinued. The riser and plates we have left are it.

Let me know if you need anything else. Take care!
I’ll let you know when I get home tomorrow.
Wow 9, just might get some plates to boot.

Messaged Aris and he’ll still produce a grip for it.

...the Tribute was just that... a short run, as a tribute to a great designer and engineer... they are going to be a cult classic...
...and if you have one consider yourself lucky...there are now only a finite number in existence...and even fewer in left-hand... I am proud to have one...
