Yes sir that is a smoking deal !!!! Have one in my cart, but I so like my 21" Dalaa, IDK.... I cant have both so the Dalaa would have to go, Any of you guys have both? Which do you prefer?

I owned a Tribute and compared to the 21" Dalaa, I'd choose the 21" Dalaa everyday. It's lighter, better selection of grips, does not have the excessive of amount of center shot and the limb pads are easily interchangeable and available.

If you like a riser with more mass, the HT-21 is fantastic too but the retail price is up there.

Thanks! Daniel, I'm gonna leave well enough alone and stick with 21" Dalaa. Hadn't considered the limb pad das to ilf change out difference. Plus dang I do like! my regular old Dalaa. But man thats goooooood price on a new Tribute and anyone who has been considering one should probably take advantage of if within budget.
I don't think that Daniel meant that Tribute limb pads aren't interchangeable (ILF/DAS). The pads are just different than those on the Dalaa's. Tribute pads are really nice especially if you are into LLA. The Tribute pads have the best LLA system there is.

$449 is a very good price. I wouldn't sell mine used for that.

The tribute limb bolts and plates are exception and were expensive to produce. The limb bolts are a true .375 so no lateral play.... das was ahead of Jake kaminski on that one. And helical washer on limb bolt curs vibration and won't gouge the limbs. The tribute is hit or miss for many. Mostly the grip which can be worked around. but it is well worth 449. I think even 750 was reasonable if it fits your needs there is nothing else out there that is like the tribute

But I agree. I love the 21 Dallas or ht and shoot them better all day
The Tribute does have DAS and ILF limbs pads, they're just unique to the Tribute (and expensive.) The standard Dalaa DAS and ILF pads are interchangeable across the models and you can often pick them up on the Trading Blanket.

You may be aware that the 19" Dalaa has now been released (with full parts compatibility with other Dalaas) DAS™ Dalaa 19" Riser
and I assume the Tribute was the odd one out, not a great seller and no need for two 19" risers in the range. The Tribute is a solid riser, the 21" Dalaa and the HT-21 do it for me.

I hate to be "That Guy" but it's on my heart to weigh in here as follows...

I saw this day coming from this risers inception 8+ years ago.

Everyone was excited about "Being Part Of" as Rasyad was very open to design & feature suggestions in an attempt to please everyone and in the process procure the ultimate 19" riser. (a riser length that was trending back then with CD Archery offering up the WF19 and Gillo with their 19" G5 Gillo Hunter)

I myself was also caught up in the excitement and ready to be all in on the first wave until I saw the 1st prototype and you know what they say about "Trying To Please All The People" and" "To many cooks in the kitchen" and where that became glaringly obvious was that abortion of a grip as Rasyad struggled to please boh camps...those who wanted to shoot a narrow bare metal grip and those who demanded an actual grip and as anyone can clearly see?...the grip looks like a chop shop afterthought and that's when I was all out.

The CD WF19 had gobs of centershot clearance and I really liked that on mine because the more centershot the bow and your loose can get?...the stiffer spine you can use...and the stiffer spine you use?...the more the energy goes into propelling the arrow rather than flexing it and the less the arrow flexes?...the more fletching wear you get unless?...the riser has gobs of centershot clearance.

And it's really a shame because everything about the Tribute is awesome from the amount of Deflex to the amount of centershot clearance and the weighting but that/those grips?...my bow hand might be able to see past them but my eyes sure can't. :(

Just some of my shared thoughts and opinions to consider if you're feeling froggy and I may've well just caused some to jump over the Tributes virtues as well as stand pat over the grips.

Here's a little backstory thread...

Happy shooting whatever you think, feel or do. :)

I can tell you from a machining perspective the tribute is more difficult to manufacture...maybe on a cnc the difference is minor but when I tried to make a pocket on a manual mill for tribute plates it was totally doable but not as easy as David's original plates. David knew how to produce things minimally and efficiently from a manufacturing perspective. That is why 3r continues the original. The big plus is the lla of tribute but I really don't feel Lla is the necessary 95% of the time and would prefer not to have it. On the next riser I make it will have David's plates. Now that 3r makes the stainless plates for the original style it truly makes das stand out for versatility. You can use aluminum and have a lightweight hunting rig or a beast of a heavyweight for targets shooting. Or mix and match for bottom weighting. Then you can choose ilf orDAS ( as if there is a choice in that regard)...we all know which is better. Now the tribute limb bolts are awesome. I will make something similar fit my riser but titanium.

The Tribute is my favorite hunting riser. I really think the grip gets a bad rap for no reason, unless it was made just for me. The shelf has been my only concern with it and the HT21 is superior in that regard.

All I can say is I’m damn pleased with my two tributes and seriously thinking of a 3rd at this price.

I’m pretty sure how this is going to play out two years from now they won’t be around and people will want them and it will be too late.
Grip isn’t an issue any longer.

I personally really like the look of the stock Tribute grip, how it interfaces like that with the undergrip showing through. Bold design. How it feels is the next Q. Would just get an R Core in wood for it if I didn't like it.

EDIT: Wanted a Tribute on first sight. Only thing holding me back now is that I already have 3x 19" risers, one of them (my F261) I'm shooting so well these days, 'meant to be' sort of thing. If I get the Tribute it might cause a break up with a beautiful thing for no good reason and I would've paid 500 bucks to feel stupid.

I could shoot it just fine with the bare metal grip, I prolly shoot the dalaa better without a grip than I do with…less surface area to torque…

the tributes are sweet shooters, at end of the day it was heavier than I wanted in a hunting riser. Awesome riser though…

Well said to hell with it. Ordered my tribute today.
At the price, top quality, durability of the finish, no more being produced and I love the design.
Hell yeah.

Now I’m curious as the the serial number.

How much does the Tribute weigh? For some reason don't see it on the site.
Remote, I’ll weigh one of mine when I get home but it will be a few days. Unless someone has info available on hand.
