Ok...ended up switching to a new rest and it ended up raising the arrow rest point about 3/16" higher...I did the same to my nock point. My question, should my tiller be adjusted? If so, in which form. Should I add or decrease. Thanks!
I would set my nock point at the same height above, as it corresponds to the new rest. Then I would venture outside and let go a bareshaft arrow and see if the tail is high or low, and adjust my nocking point accordingly. This will get you close! Set your height, then your horizontal according to tuning for tens proto. Then to fine tune, you might do a walk back and tweak your tiller for impact in the vertical at further distances/horizontal. Review the classics for more detail on tiller etc.
Thanks. I'm pretty much hitting better than I had been. I put on a NAP flipper II rest with a felt pad on my titan. Seems quieter and the flipper arm sticks out a lot further than the t300 I had been using. I'm getting great tears in paper and hitting exactly where I'm looking...but I'm still fresh to this.
I had my tiller perfect where it was...but know I can tell something's just not sounding right, and I'm confident it's my tiller know that I'm gripping the string at a higher spot.
