Or Bow...if you aren't an ILF guy....

I have a soft spot for the Uukha Vx's .........though I know a lot of them had problems

I wouldn't take many limbs over my winex or bfx.. I haven't tried any super pricey limbs but these feel right and I'm too cheap to spend more (and not sure I would get that much more)

My favorite limb is the Border CV-W but that's discontinued.... reasonably fast, quiet, easy to tune and affordable when it was available. It has that springy feeling at the back end that I like.
Close 2nd is the TradTech RC Wood - limbs that are reasonably quick, but the most impressive thing is that just thump and there's practically no vibration. Most people are impressed when they shoot my setups... or maybe they don't tune their bow properly lol

I like forgiving and quiet limbs which just "stop" after the shot. I tried Border Hex-6 and Hex-7 and they weren't for me.
W&W MXT. I’m trying out a couple sets of Fivics right now but find myself grabbing my W&W for any tourney. The W&W Inno Ex Prime are dang nice also.

border for hunting
uukha for 3d
Ive only shot a handful of limbs really. Been watching your threads lately though.
The win and win mxt 10 sound like some awesome limbs. Next time I find myself with a reserve of cash Id like to pick up a set for a hunting bow.
Oh boy, think my hex 7.5 or hex 7 and hex 6 are really nice, WW EX prime very nice, same with my dryad epics, older style.
I’m really liking my uukha sx50

My desire for latest and greatest expensive limbs has went down to affordable and honestly bang for your buck.

I have a set of Dryad Epics made in 2013. They are the best limbs (hunting) that I have. Pretty fast, quiet, nice even draw. I've owned other sets of Epics but they were different. Also have a set of honeycomb foam Winex. They are my seconds.

I've shot others that rank higher in 2 of these characteristics, but none altogether like the Nika N3's.

EDIT: mega keen to hear from MK Zest owners, the #1 limbs I want to try right now

Best? Tough call but will be Border HEX 6/6.5 with a close 2nd best Morrison MAX6.

Good you didn’t ask the Best one piece bow!

Like Draven, I found my sweet spot with the Border HEX6 family. I use them on both my target and field bow. I also really liked the HEX5. For conventional recurves I prefer extra long. I have only shot one of that length so I do not have anything to compare too other than shorter ILF limbs.

Even though I’m selling them, the hex 9h limbs are the easiest to draw, and the fastest per pound I’ve ever had.
Let’s see, of the many limbs I have owned, the W&W ex power were very nice and stable. The Joel limbs stacked like a book sale. Border cv-w very nice limb but not the best. Border hex 4 were good, fast but a little shocky. Kaya storms were very nice stable and reminded me more of a compound limb draw feel. Border hex 7 did not like the feel of. Tradtech longbow limbs felt cheap. Gillo 88 limbs are nice and smooth. Uuhkas vx+and xx are both very smooth with a nice take up. Had some Hoyt pro medalists I think they were called, and they were very unresponsive for the draw weight. Hoyt g3 were complete waste of time, slow and spongy.
There were several other s but that is the highlights of my ilf limbs.

Fav overall Mk Mx 42otf (the arrows graphics). Not too much preload. Still smooth but not too smooth at back. I draw 31.5”. Remote: zest are much stiffer on back end than Nika. I’m going off what others have said comparing them to win win nsg which have a decent back wall. Nsg 51 oare my favorite heavy limb right now but I don’t have heavy mkmx to compare to.

mxt10 are nice too 49otf I still don’t like too much preload but they are very refined post shot vibe with still giving good feedback (good shots feel and vibrate tiny frequency, bad shots don’t feel the same).

I REALLY liked border cv wood but sold them when I put them up against against mk veracity and the veracity were better in all qualities: handshock , post shot vibe , quietness, quick stop but still good feedback. Same speed border 2fps faster. Much wider limbs. Mk very narrow.

I’ve shot border hex 5, 6bb2, 6.5, 6.7. All 34-38 otf. I liked all those but still a little post shot vibe. Might revisit now that I’m shooting much heavier than when I had these. Xcurve and vx+ better post shot 42otf. About same speed. Uukha finish is garbage 😝 curious to try cv2. Would like a cv 1 or 1.5.

there’s a huge difference in feel of the shot every 7-10lbs increase. Limbs and risers feel and react totally different. Hard to compare when one bow is shooting 30 and another 50. I still have my 28lb hex 5 extra longs wood which are 32 @ my draw and will never sell them. Ha!
My good friend kasey (kakend) taught me you need a setup for every 5lbs you can shoot and a couple setups to share with new shooters.

I had agulla ultras of the same era. Wicked. The hand selected and spined maple cores were something else 👍

Best longbow: 70” jack Harrison American wolf take down. RED crazy figured Cocobolo. Never should’ve sold it. probably my biggest regret sale of all time.
