I have only been carp fishing once. I borrowed some gear. I want to set up a morrison 15" ILF.
Can you guys recommend a reel, rest and arrows? Hopefully I only have to do this once!

A couple more questions, can you put more line in that AMS bottle? If so, how much more?
What do you use for a tab, my good ones are not going carp fishing... anyone use those rubber finger saver thingies kids put on their strings?

AMS, no glove(item that goes on your string), shooting off the shelf with Velcro. I use my Morrison gen 2 19" riser with blackmax limbs.

If needed I go cheap regarding the sideplate and rest. I do cut some fishing arrows to tune them....but more often tune the bow to the arrow by building the rest and sideplate out and up with a combination of moleskin and electric tape.

I'm not sure getting a good tune is important to me. I'm thinking a close miss could actually be a 10,, carp are kinda nasty, just saying!!!
Thanks guys for all the help.

Since the fish arrows are fat and waaaayyyy over spined, I sorted my 10yd tune via a 2315 full length shaft, since I had some on hand. I then confirmed it with a few shots into the water. I haven't shot at many fish with mine, but have missed the ones I have shot at. The whole light refraction thing is very frustrating.
