It’s a long and narrow raised bump that gives you feedback on bowhand placement. The idea is that it settles into the lifeline on your hand for consistency. Doesn’t look like much, or feel like much until you get close to full draw. I can’t say that it’s revolutionized my shooting but I’d say get and if you don’t like it sand it down.Sorry for the stupid question, but what it the "lifeline" their grips.? OneJame answered right. I really like it on mine.Sorry for the stupid question, but what it the "lifeline" their grips.? I can't find a clear answer on their website.
I think I will get a new grip for mine too. Didn't know I needed one, but when I really pick apart my form to get consistant, I realize that my hand is trying to slide clockwise. Just hard to know which one to pick without handling them. I know you have the Master which does look fairly wide and should stop the slipping.... Which grip height do you have and any advice on that? I was a "book learner" of G Fred who promotes high grips but he is 100% instinctive and I'm moving more towards a fixed crawl so I'm not sure that a high grip is real needed for that....OneJame answered right. Just go for the stock medium grip then. You'll not be disappointed. Ask for the hex-textured palm area. I have mine in walnut. Fantastic investment.I think I will get a new grip for mine too. Is your F261 painted rather than anodised? Are they chips or a post purchase paintjob?

From the small picture originally posted it was hard to tell.Anodised and that is my paint job. I just like to break it up a bit. I am a bit offended that you would think my paint job is chipped paint 🤣
