I last talked with Rusty on phone around 2 years ago.........he was mostly shooting handguns weekly with WINGNUT and Jason.
I never saw anyone ELSE - EVER - take such liberties with the English language in written word - - as Rusty did on here.
sad to think of him gone, but the man was sure entertaining for all of us on here.
I probably bought 27 of his bows from one time to another.
a gentleman of the sport, for sure.

Sad news. I sent Rusty a dozen arrows for his girlfriend several years’ back and had the good fortune to meet him later at an IBO Traditional shoot at Pipestem, WV. My condolences to his family and friends.

yeh guys, the pig tunnels, Rusty crawling in the mud & weeds/thorns on hands n knees after hogs.......
and he'd make the pit blinds too, and dig the nearby hole, and mix corn and water and Jell-o, in the holes, and stir it all up into some foul mash.....that the pigs loved.
I enjoyed his story tellings.

I followed him on FB, knew he been struggling lately.
He loved fried Bologna and onion sandwiches.
He shared with others and always passed it on.
Sent him a Spectra Warf once, he strung it up and shot it even though he had access to any bow he wished.
He loved motorcycles and firearms and hunting.
He will be missed but never forgotten, an Archery Ambassador.
