I follow certain bow trends if I see a drop I will knowtify you .I am not really looking for wood, as I think the heaviness of metal helps. My searching is more about longbow compatible risers. If it were $85 I might place an order anyway though.
Short Risers with less pocket angle magnifies preload even more. Would need proprietary limbs to calculate limb weight.Like you I would love to find a heavy, short (15” or less) riser with limb angles that would be conducive to longbow limbs. It seems like the “better” risers for longbow limbs have 15 or 16 degree limb pad angles and not much deflex.

This may be true but I like the heavy feel at the start. I shot my 42lb 66" A&H yesterday and there's more to pull at the start over my 43lb ILF combo (45lb limbs on a 19" riser).Short Risers with less pocket angle magnifies preload even more. Would need proprietary limbs to calculate limb weight.
Let me guess, you have a short draw and do not hold at anchor? This may be true but I like the heavy feel at the start. I shot my 42lb 66" A&H yesterday and there's more to pull at the start over my 43lb ILF combo (45lb limbs on a 19" riser).
I asked Kustom King about this riser's limb pad angle they told me Bearpaw does not share that info!I bet it's an unreliable method but from this pic this angle looks low
