for those who didn't hear,,we all lost a fine man a few weeks ago..steve abbott passed on ..he was a fine fellow,on the level and square..i miss him and was glad to have known him..i have five of his bows,some new and some twenty five years old..they all shoot as good as a bow can shoot..chris,his partner is gonna continue on makin bows..he's in the shop now..just thought i'd let you know..

Thank you for the info that Chriss is going to carry on Steves work.I think Chriss was with Steve at Denton hill a year ago,seemed like a Steve clone (nice guy).
I bought a yew and cocobolla riser from Steve once,Steve told me it was the fastest bow he had their.If I remember right it was 60" and 42#@28"-I regret selling it.It was fast and a thing of beauty.I have a friend who has a bamboo back and belly abbott-he will never let that bow go,another great shooting LB from the master Steve Abott.

RIP Steve Abbott.. I read about the gathering, a wonderful way to pay respect to an archer..
