Hi, and thanks for the add. I started out with a recurve that I was told was to small for me, so I weighed the options and decided to build a bow since most of my friends have. I made a bamboo backed hickory reflex deflex. Now that I have been tillering, when I put a string to further my process my bow looks pretty lop sided. Do I need a longer string, more sanding on the limbs any help would be appreciated. I started with a kit from ringing rock archery. Just a block of hickory ,bamboo and handle material. Thanks again:waaah:

First guess is string too long.

Your limbs are unstable and will likely even up as you increase brace. Too much reflex in form will cause this and or profile is too narrow..
