I'm looking at an older Bob Lee takedown bow selling locally for $300. He hasn't come back to me regarding the year it was made. Mint condition 58 inches, #36. It has a handle made of ash and polymer with a riser of rosewood. Maple core limbs under brown glass with micarta tips. Not seeing any Red Wing Archery labels on it with the pics supplied. Question - why the 3-piece riser? Must say it takes away from the aesthetics of a nice old bow. Any experience with it as a shooter? Thanks.
