Well thank you for all the kind messages of support. they genuinely mean a lot. My concern is that I have COPD and Asthma so keeping my limited lung function is my priority. Feeling pretty much the same this morning, headache and a sore throat and a little bit of shivering but that's to be expected. Oh well time will tell?

I'm getting over a regular head cold that's been bothering me a couple of weeks. It's otherwise been pretty mild, but the coughing every night keeps waking me up, so I've been very tired.

I've taken this as a warning to be more careful, so I'm wearing an N95 again whenever I go anywhere.

DANG, sometimes you just can't get a break. I hope she gets over it quick without a whole lot of suffering. at least glad you are feeling better PHIL, & you can help Vivienne out some.

Sorry to hear about the wife. It is unfortunately hard to keep it from spreading in the same house. My wife and I and my son all got hit one after the other a few weeks ago.

Hello all and hello Jim
Thank you all so much for your concern and all the kind comments posted here. Vivienne and I are on the home straight. We've both been affected by fatigue and loss of taste and smell. My COPD and Asthma has been a challenge to manage but I'm though it with minimal damage
Covid is not nice so please take whatever precautions and medications you can to mimimise it's effects so thank you all once again for your support

Phil -

Go easy for the next few days . . . the stress of recovery is insidious.
