I rencently started shooting an MA111 [email protected]" and it shoots about 8" low at 20 yds from POA. It has a velcro strip on the shelf and thats it. Do these bows generally need a little more on the shelf to get POA or is it ??
According to their owner's manual on page 13, for an elevated rest, they recommend part numbers 323, a brush rest. They formerly recommended the Neet Pro-rest, but I cannot find it on Neet's website or the BW catalog, Lancaster or 3 Rivers. Maybe someone else can make a suggestion.
Below is the link to their owner's manual, I still refer to it when looking for arrow recommendations for recurves:
Your right John. I shoot several other recurves besides in a Rick Welch type fashion. 3 under, thumb under earlobe/jaw bone. As a pure point and shoot instinct shooter those bows shoot pretty close to my natural point of aim. Not this one. Its lower impact makes me want to raise the shelf thereby raising the point of imapct to where Im naturally pointing.
