The Midwest Open Indoor Archery Tournament has recently opened a trial Traditional class. The format is unique -- two days, one day an NFAA 360 and the next day a Vegas 330. In general, "traditional" for this tournament is a one piece or take-down recurve or longbow, the riser must be made "primarily" out of wood, shooting wood arrows off a shelf or stick-on rest. Folks have been asking for a Traditional class for a long time, so it would be great to have a good turnout to show our community's support for traditional completion (hey... it finally worked for Lancaster!) to keep the class going into the future. In any event, we need at least five shooters to hold the class (otherwise we get booted into bare bow), but having more of us would be even better. I hope you will consider attending. December 12-14, Springfield, IL. (And, BTW, there is tons of fun stuff to do in Springfield!) For more information, rules, and registration, etc.: Midwest Open Indoor Archery Tournament
