Any chance the Martin Diablo riser is warfable? I met a guy at the local range who was shooting one recently and noticed the limbs are just junk. Top limb was pretty twisted. I heard Samick Sage limbs are basically a drop-in fit, but if it could be warfed, it might make a pretty nice bow. I shot it a few times and it feels pretty good.

I did a Hatfield one time and decided the riser was too short for ILF by just a tad. It worked OK but with the long heavy brass bolt through the riser is very impractical to move the limb bolts inward.

I think if I had one,,,I'd likely leave it alone and hunt some Martin limbs or as you mentioned,,some Sage limbs.

Of course it could all be solved with a ugly overhanging plate but that would ruin the look of the riser.

Thanks, Sam. I kind of figured the pocket might need an overhanging plate since it looked shorter than the ILF limb butt. I don't think he wants to destroy the aesthetic of the riser. Guess some Sage limbs would be the next best bet.
