boiled some tiny new red taters earlier. then, I split them in half, melted butter in a skillet, rolled them taters around in it, & placed them flat side down. then, I doused them liberally with sea salt & pepper. fried them puppies till golden on bottom, fixed some creamed corn & had my wifes cornbread to top it off. no, I don't expect to die of old age...

I'd rather kick the can at 70 with a mouth full of bacon, than live to 100 and not remember the taste of good food

And yes I keep in good shape, I just refuse to follow the calorie counting trend lol

Ha! Round does qualify!

I just tried to clarify because everyone is different. Some folks get out of shape by eating less than a well structured, carefully planned diet. Me personally, I pay less attention to each individual meal being perfectly balanced...and just follow a general rule of " everything in moderation".

Bacon has its own definition of moderation in my opinion.

One could eat small amounts of bacon frequently and call it moderation...

I prefer to eat the whole damn pack of bacon ( like I need an excuse right?)...but it might only happen every month and a half or 2 months....some may call it a binge...I call it moderation lol
