Yep, just like the Mesa is a rebranded Deerseeker Vendetta. You can buy either very nice longbow from Deerseeker direct for less, but if I was in the US and could get it from a retailer with warranty, I would. Always good to buy local, even if made abroad.
Did not know that about the Mesa, quite like some of the extra colour choices too.

I have one in 35# and it has a bit of recoil in my hand and although not bad it’s annoying to shoot. I have it on the local Craig’s List for sale.

Is that for sure the same bow?
I seen it was 219.00 at Deerseeker if it is 219.00 shipped I think I would take the risk for 100.00 less than 3R.

It's where I bought mine. Shipping a Mesa from the US to where I am was far too expensive, overall alnost twice the price. You may find this hard to believe but due to a low stock supply messup at the time, mine came from Deerseeker directly branded 'Mesa'. I can take a photo to prove it.

I complained as I wanted it branded a Vendetta but they had none in stock with house brand.

Any case it proves that Deerseeker even do the branding for 3 Rivers.

I have no reason to doubt you but I will order from Deerseeker when the time comes and assume the risks. I overpaid early on for a lot of stuff before I was put on to Alternative and AliExpress.

Understandable. I have overpaid myself.

Worth saying that I've only had good experiences dealing with Deerseeker. Honourable people, they'll do right by you. I haven't read of any complaints on here or elsewhere either.

I was slightly incorrect. Mine from Deerseeker direct has 3 River's 'Old Mountain' branding, the word 'Mesa' isn't written. But this is identical to the Mesa's you buy from 3 Rivers, exactly the same in every way.

Deerseeker make the 3 Rivers 'Traditional Only' and 'Old Mountain' line of bows.

I would just like to get a longbow that has minimal to no hand shock to scratch my longbow itch, preferably not spending a lot of money. My main traditional / hunting will be ILF.
The only rub is poundage, do I buy the comfortable to shoot 35# or the hunting capable/ legal 40#, my thoughts are 35#. My Scorpion is 35# and I enjoy shooting that poundage, I just think how enjoyable a longbow would be without the minimal hand shock. The only way I reduced the hand shock was to go very heavy arrows.

There's an omega imperial that just popped up on the leatherwall classifieds. 64" 40#@30". I believe this bow would be perfect for you. If for some reason you don't like it you could flip it at little to zero loss. It's not mine but, if it were 5-8# heavier in draw it would be.

That's interesting ,didn't know that

Deerseeker has a new bow, Outlander.
I had ordered the Zebra but it arrived cracked. They offered to refund or replace, suggesting the Outlander instead. I accepted the refund but probably will consider ordering it in spring.

Sharing the actual email b/c I thought the 2nd line was hilarious ...

"We apologize for this issue with the longbow, can we refund the money to you, please?
The riser was not well built, that might due to the wood materials.
Or would you like a replacement, please? We have the latest Outlander longbow with 64" size. "

sensitivity edit here...........

I have the Deerseeker Zebra and also the Vendetta. They have got the weights and a bit of decal printed but otherwise unbranded. I have found them good to deal with and the direct pricing is much better than through Old Mountain or their agents. From what I have experienced with them I would trust them with any warranty issues though none have arisen. The finish on the bows is superb. I have just ordered some arrows from them too so I will see what they are like, certainly very well priced

Is Deerseeker made in china?

"we're sorry we sent you junk"..........
Nope. They're admitting they did wrong - which happens to any bowyer - and then doing something about it. That's called being honourable.

Their quality is very high for a production bow. My R/D from them is at least as good as any Bear or Bodnik I've owned or shot. Deerseeker have high standards - enough for 3 Rivers to bank their brand on them.

remote. post 32 fooie had some humor with his bow fail and their response. I joined him in post 33.
