RE- the baby monitors. when our first son was born, we went with the room to room plug-ins. soon found out that we were also hearing one neighbors cell phone calls & anothers jacked-up home radio system. learned to tune them out pretty quick though...

just got through looking at my home in cambodia this early morning, all the rooms, windows, doors, and the outside, thanks to the 15 cameras that monitor it 24/7.
just click an icon and there it is. it's amazing how far that technology has advanced. i can adjust the bit rate, pan a camera, isolate and zoom one camera etc. all from my computer or cell phone thousands of miles away via relays. all i need is an internet connection.
