Could you guys post some pics of your shelf build up's ,
Done with wood or plastic??? I want to make some for my ilf
bow , in a half moon shape . Want to make sure it is perfectly
legal for Trad/ Recurve class.

I used 2 half moon shapes Rob, but left a gap between them. It was noted on here that you cannot have any gap. For this year I am going to do like Jim, wood on the bottom and a disc on a threaded bolt for windage. I will coble something up for that part. 2 pieces of wood works fine, but its a pain to get out the file to adjust it. lol I used barge cement to bond it to the riser, no issues. You will want to seal the wood, so you dont have swelling issues in humid weather.
Here is mine with a piece of foam filling the gap. It will be updated prior to the season. Looking at it in the pics, man does that look hidious. lol

I use cork for both shelf and kick plate.

Easily worked, naturally waterproof and, as I have conned my wife, need very special cork that only comes in bottles of Barolo. LOL
