I wear them for early to later but use toe warmers inside for late season.

Lacrosse grange, rocky outbacks, old sneakers, and crocs are what I’m running. We have very different habitats to hunt in though. Camofire has good deals on boots all the time.

Lacross Burly classic 18” with some smart wool type socks. Boot drier every night when it gets cold. I use the chemical hand warmers in the boots at my toes. Never have cold feet again!

I’ve walked so many miles and made so many memories in “green boots” that I’d be satisfied being buried in a pair.

I wear lacrosse rubber in deer season to keep scent down.

I am built upside down. My nose runs and my feet smell.

 

My favorite above 55 degree hunting shoes are green military grade canvas, tough tennis shoes with traction. The other 6 pairs are always in new just broken in shape and they get replaced when they are not. My wife was bitching about sore feet and bad bots so she agreed with me to go boot/shoe shopping. She found one she liked, I did not tell her what they cost and wanted a back up pair, how can prices go up that fast, but I spent the $250 anyway.

Muck chore boots most of the time.

 

I wear dryshod Arctic Storm high boots for most of hunting season. They are supposed to be good to -50.

I haven't been out hunting while it's still nice out before so not sure what I'll be wearing for bowhunting this year. I was just gunna wear sneakers but the ticks are really bad this year. I'll probably end up wearing regular rubber boots.

I got some sorels, when its real cold,but they weigh a ton. Had em since the 80s,they almost slicks,hardly any tread left...who ever made em did one heck of a job...

 

I have some mid rise Under Armour boots I bought last summer that are waterproof, don't make my feet sweat and are surprisingly warm in winter down to 15 degrees. Other than finding a replacement for the ridiculously small diameter laces they have given me zero problems and are still in great shape even though I've used them as hiking boots all spring and summer too.

 

Neoprene dive boots off Amazon. I use them with Neoprene socks, Gortex socks or hip waders. They are the best still-hunting/stalking boots I have found because they are very quiet and comfortable in the forest. I do not usually use them in mountainous rocky terrain but I have done it and survived. My ankles get tired if I wear them all day.

 

A LOT of guys run scuba shoes in the Everglades.

 

Salomon hiking boots, they are comfortable and has lasted well. I’ll buy another pair when these wear out.
Neoprene shoes, I’ll bet those are comfortable but man I live where cactus grows, feet would look like pin cushions.

I have Danners with a gortex lining. They work well in cold and heat. I was issued a set of Danners for an Iraq deployment. They survived many years after that deployment. Great boots and worth the investment.

 

I have a 25-year old ? I think - Danner set like Hawkeye II's and they are getting ragged. Real good. Got a similar set of RED WINGs8-10 years ago for backup and they are great TOO.
