Hello,

I just received my first bow SF Axiom+ 68-26, 25" Riser.
Unfortunately in my part of the world there is no archery club.
As I'm a total beginner i would appreciate if someone can answer one simple question before i hurt myself or destroy the bow.
Limbs are Axiom+ ILF type.
When I mount limbs on the riser there is a loud "click".
Is it normal that limbs (bow is not stringed) are moving inside the riser for about 10mm? They are well mounted but not static.
I have read posts regarding the tiller, but i need final confirmation before stringing.

Thanks for understanding and not laughing :)

Regards,
Nestor.

When you slot the limbs in visually check the nipple on the limb slots into the riser groove, the click is normally a good indicator that it's seated correctly, you do get some play when not strung but it's secure when strung and nothing to worry about.

If the bow is new then tiller should be factory set and be fine to string (always use a stringer) Tiller can be checked once strung. This link covers tuning, checking alignment, Tiller etc.

Enjoy your new bow
