So you grilled up a roast of something you shot and have some leftovers...what do you do? I like using em the next day for tacos.

A tortilla, some cheese, peppers, onions, cubed meat (elk in this case), some avocado and my favorite, habanero-ghost pepper salsa with some black pepper on top to open the sinuses and get the blood pumpin'. Mmmmmmmmm.

game meat leftovers? is that a real thing?

It is when you're grilling roasts for people who want it cooked medium and you want rare.

I mix leftover mashed potatoes with grated mozzarella cheese, then stuff it in pasta shells, pour tomato sauce over it, put more cheese on top, then bake until bubbly. Tastes like eating gnocchi and pasta at the same time.
I've also shredded up leftover turkey and mixed it with the mashed potatoes, but a lot of people seem to react badly to the idea of turkey and tomato sauce together.
