I have an ilf riser headed my way but have no limbs. I've been looking at some different longbow limbs and noticed on dryads website the epic limbs have either a composite core or option of a bamboo core. On lancasters website they have epic limbs listed that have carbon and foam core. Has anyone shot the foam core limbs?
I once had a zipper recurve with foam limb cores and I really liked them.

My draw length is just shy of 28" and my riser is 15". From what I've read this will give me a 60" bow?

Thanks
Josh

YES if you hang "longs" on a 15" riser it will make a 60" bow.
Dryad Epic longbow limbs are good, I have had a few sets of them, and all of mine did have the bamboo cores. Real good limbs.
Mike Westvang of DRYAD is a member here, maybe he will chime in here and help out, or you could PM him with any questions you might have, too.

You made me look, I had no idea that LAS was selling DRYAD limbs.

Yep Lancaster is offering our Epic LB limb and a new production bow we designed and build for them. The Wraith is available with either LB or RC limbs and is a new riser design.

We also offer the Epic LB limbs along with the ACS-CG limbs on our website.
